Skye completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Science, with a minor in Political Science, at McMaster University. Passionate about sustainability across all sectors, Skye has developed a particular interest in sustainable agriculture through her master’s research. She is a graduate student focused on understanding long-term changes in soil organic carbon stocks in field crop systems under different managements. This research has the potential to influence policy, inform growers, and guide future studies. Building organic matter and organic carbon in agricultural soils is a crucial component for enhancing resilience in agriculture.
