My current research in the Wagner-Riddle lab focuses on quantifying greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural systems using micrometeorlogical techniques. Currently several projects are underway to measure emissions of nitrous oxide, methane, water vapour, and carbon dioxide using different methods and instrumentation. A main component of my work involves evaluating and improving these measurement techniques. My previous research from my Ph.D. focused on characterizing in-canopy turbulence characteristics to improve flux partitioning models.
